Leanne Morgan is an educator in the Nursing and Health team at TAFE Queensland at the Toowoomba Campus.
She is proactive when confronted with problems such as limited teaching resources, which has resulted in her developing learning material for both the Diploma of Nursing and the Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care programs.
With the Primary Health programs, Leanne has developed a training model that utilises face-to-face block delivery, incorporating theoretic lessons, simulated clinical skills practice and vocational placement. She then promotes and supports students to access online content within a learning and management system away from campus, allowing students to learn anytime, anywhere.
Leanne has done an amazing amount of work, including in her own personal time, to develop and implement a range of the learning and assessment resources within the TAFE Queensland learning management system, Connect, for both Nursing and Primary Health Care programs.
