Jenni Edsall is currently a senior lecturer leading the Applied Science team of the Veterinary and Applied Science Centre (VASC) of TAFE SA. She spent nine years in research at the University of Melbourne before deciding she wanted to share her passion for science and knowledge through teaching.
After five years of secondary school teaching, Jenni joined TAFE SA in 1996. As a multi-skilled lecturer, she teaches across the animal and laboratory sciences programs offered by VASC, delivering state-wide programs to internal and external students.
Throughout her 20 years in the VET sector, Jenni has been inspired by the hard work and dedication of the students, many of whom face significant challenges in achieving their goal of a science career. Her emphasis has been on instilling in her students a love for science, an understanding of its broad application to many careers, and an ability to provide answers based on evidence and knowledge.
