Jacqui Dale was a Registered Nurse for many years before starting a new career as a high school teacher.

Jacqui delivers Connect N Grow Health Programs at Thuringowa State High School in Townsville where she has been instrumental in implementing the dual qualification of Certificate II in Health and Community Services and the Certificate III in Health Services Assistance. Within a two-year period, Jacqui quadrupled the number of students enrolled in the program.

Jacqui always takes the time to meet individually with each student providing support to her students who have diverse learning needs through a range of scaffolding activities, one to one support, group work, peer support and modelling.

To ensure her students have opportunities to apply their knowledge in the real world, Jacqui has developed community partnerships, which provide students access to businesses in the health industry.
