Moving independently to Alice Springs at aged 17, Wendy began a career in hospitality. At 30, she was running her own business. Realising her passion for accounting, she enrolled at Charles Darwin University with the goal of becoming a BAS agent and bookkeeper. “Learning in the VET environment was easy for me, I loved it and it became my happy place”. After getting BAS registration, Wendy started training accounting software to clients. “I had my first taste of being a VET trainer, and loved it! I’m where I want to be – giving back and changing lives through VET!”
