Sharon Stewart’s career in vocational education and training spans more than 25 years. Sharon’s breadth of experience includes being an auditor for the Western Australian VET Regulator, managing registered training organisations in the Northern Territory, and now owning her own RTO, WANT Training Services. 

Sharon delivers a range of training and education products to her students and has been instrumental in developing simulated assessments within a hosting environment, for students. Over the years Sharon has adopted a hands-on approach with her students on their journey of learning, getting to know them personally and focusing on their different needs and capabilities. 

Sharon has taken her skills and knowledge into her volunteer role as Director of Education for the Darwin Surf Lifesaving Club, winning Educator of the Year 2022 for implementing a program to develop new trainers for the club. Sharon is a passionate advocate for VET trainers saying, “They educate our workforce, and without them we wouldn’t have the workforce we need.”
