On Friday 20 November the Australian Training Awards will showcase Australia’s national training system and celebrate the exceptional talent in vocational education and training (VET).
75 finalists have been shortlisted across seventeen Australian Training Award categories.
The Australian Training Awards recognise outstanding achievement in students, apprentices, trainees and teachers, employers and registered training organisations.
The awards also recognise outstanding leadership and contribution to the VET sector through the Lifetime Achievement Award and National Achievement Award.
Minister for Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business, Senator the Hon Michaelia Cash, said “The 2020 Australian Training Awards, which will an online event for the first time in its 26-year history, will help reinforce the benefits of a vibrant VET sector.”
“This is a fantastic chance to recognise hard-working Australians and the career journeys they are undertaking, as well as testimony to their dedication, their skills and their passion.”
