Established in 2012, Zinfra Group is a leading service provider to the utility infrastructure sectors, delivering a comprehensive range of engineering, construction, operations and maintenance services across Australia. Zinfra Group’s services include design, project management, civil construction and asset operations in the power, gas, water and telecommunications sectors.

Zinfra Group employs around 1500 people, including 70 apprentices. Its training programs are firmly embedded in the company’s values and “Grow Our Own” workforce development strategy. In line with this, Zinfra Group is committed to providing a range of career pathways to assist its apprentices to plan for their future.

The Zinfra Group Apprentice Job Rotation Program ensures all apprentices are multi skilled by providing them with exposure to a number of business units, and secondments with industry partners.

For their apprentices’ off-the job training, Zinfra Group partners with industry specific and innovative training providers to give its apprentices access to authentic simulations of real work environments and scenarios. Zinfra Group’s Mentoring Program also provides a unique internal support mechanism for apprentices through the allocation of a mentor, who is a fully qualified tradesperson, to each new apprentice.
