selectability Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation with over 320 staff, including psychologists, mental health nurses, counsellors, social workers, support coordinators lifestyle support workers, peer support workers, domestic cleaners, trainers, and life coaches. They also have more than 45 Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency registered mental health professionals.

All employees share the goal of improving the mental wellbeing of people in regional Queensland and supporting the prevention of suicide.

To ensure their services are meeting better practice standards, selectability Ltd ensures all employees take part in ongoing training.

selectability Ltd implements a career pathway that provides progression opportunities to staff that link directly with the completion of Nationally Recognised Training at Certificate III level or above.

selectability Ltd operates ‘selectability training’, a registered training organisation that offers Nationally Recognised Training in areas that support a skilled NDIS workforce. selectability Ltd also develops its own non-accredited training programs to address any skill gaps in the workforce.

Training is rapidly deployed through a purpose-built internal online Learning Management System (LMS) that was developed in 2018. The LMS services the entire selectability footprint, including Palm Island.
