Completing Certificate IV studies in Community Services Work and Youth Work through Durack Institute of Technology, Regina works at the Aboriginal Workforce Development Centre as a mentor to a group of Aboriginal women aged 18 to 24. In this role, Regina provides support and identifies issues, while empowering her clients to work towards solutions.

Regina has a five year plan which includes further study in both community services work and counselling at the diploma level, and completion of an Aboriginal mental health first aid course. She hopes to become a child advocate and crisis counsellor, as well as a trainer in protective behaviours, before continuing her studies at university level.
Regina is a member of the board for Aidan’s Place, an Amangu Native Title Working Group member, the coordinator of the Bluff Point Primary School breakfast programme and the president of Riding Develops Abilities.
