Established in 2003, Outside Ideas is a civil construction, commercial landscaping and structural concreting business. The company has grown to a team of more than 165 full time staff.

Outside Ideas is committed to constantly improving the capability of its workforce. The company prefers to develop talent from within, investing in quality training to ensure team members are equipped with the required technical skills, the right attitude, work ethic, resilience and personal skills to succeed in their chosen career.

Outside Ideas established Construction Training Academy (CTA), a Registered Training Organisation which specialises in landscaping and civil construction training.

CTA gained registration in January 2020 and is training its first intake of apprentices. CTA will play a significant role in the development of Outside Ideas’ future apprentices. CTA plans to extend its training programs to the wider landscaping and civil construction industries.
