Obieco Industries is a Tamworth based licensed vehicle body building manufacturer. With 60 staff including 10 apprentices across the disciplines of Metal Fabrication, Mechanical Engineering, Auto Electrical and Automotive Refinishing.

With a reputation for training leading tradespersons within their chosen field, Obieco Industries is proud of its ability to attract apprentices without the need to advertise.

Obieco Industries has developed significant partnerships with TAFE Tamworth, Apprenticeship Support Australia, Careers Network and State Training Services, and says partnerships with these organisations means that as a regionally based employer, it is able to support 10 apprentices across multiple disciplines.

Further to its ongoing recruitment and training of apprentices, Obieco Industries strongly encourages and supports its staff to undertake further studies to enhance their current and future employment opportunities.
