After completing Year 12, Mark den Hartog was uncertain of what career path he should pursue. He worked as a kitchen hand and a retail manager before commencing work with DHL Express as a courier. After a year in the role, Mark was keen to learn more about DHL Express and the logistics industry more broadly, and enrolled in a Certificate III in Logistics through Apprentices Trainees Employment Limited.

DHL Express actively supports employees to undertake continuous training and education, and Mark has completed a range of training programmes including the Regulated Air Cargo Agent security certificate, the Dangerous Goods Training certificate and DHL’s Certified International Specialist programme.

Having always enjoyed physical education at school, Mark plays volleyball and has completed a Tough Mudder course. He fundraises for a range of charities and looks forward to travelling overseas.
