Upon completing his secondary schooling, Christopher Avery travelled overseas and developed a love for cultural and traditional dress. Over the course of his studies towards the Advanced Diploma of Applied Fashion Design and Technology at the Melbourne School of Fashion, Christopher’s designs and collections were showcased through a range of national and international channels and he was selected as the school’s ambassador for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week. His work has also featured in an internationally renowned magazine.

Christopher aspires to push the boundaries of men’s clothing and experiment with dress that is outside the norm; encouraging men to dress to their personality rather than to social convention. He has worked on collaborative projects to produce custom designed knitwear and jewellery, as well as with professionals from across the fashion industry, allowing him to demonstrate his dedication to his vocation.
Christopher has been involved in a number of charity events and raises awareness of ethical trade and responsible manufacturing practices.
