After ten years of experience working in horticulture, Chloe dreamed of a career where she could support and empower young people so she enrolled in a Certificate IV in Youth Work.

Chloe has always been passionate about working with young people. She believes it is important to empower them to see the world is full of vast opportunities, and she teaches her clients that it is possible to excel in life no matter what their background is.

During her training Chloe found three placement positions, and was offered a position from two. She chose to work for Local Government as a Youth Development Support officer. She works on youth based events and is involved in the operation of a drop in youth centre.

Chloe’s was the 2019 South Regional TAFE Student of the Year. She continues to be an ambassador, creating a program to help youth write resumes so they can enter the workforce and become more financially independent.
