After completing a Bachelor of Commerce, Caitlan did an internship with Telethon. Raising funds for sick children sparked her passion to do more in the health industry.

She started working as a clerical officer at Princess Margaret Hospital, which further fuelled her desire to help people. Caitlan looked at what pathways were available and started a Diploma of Anaesthetic Technology where she achieved excellent results. Caitlan is now an anaesthetic technician at King Edward Memorial Hospital in Perth.

She is on track to achieve her Schedule 4R and 8 Drug licence, which she hopes will lead to a long-term career in the public health care system.

Caitlan is also continuing her involvement with Telethon and regularly volunteers her time with the organisation.
