After a childhood spent riding and competing on horses, it was natural that Phoebe Storey would choose a career working with animals.

After completing a Bachelor of Animal Science, Phoebe wanted hands-on experience. She was offered a traineeship at Redgum Vet & Pet Boarding and enrolled in a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. After completing the certificate, Phoebe was inspired to do further training and completed short courses in canine management and behaviour training. This led to her becoming the puppy preschool instructor for the Redgum Clinic.

Phoebe’s commitment and dedication to her field of work saw her named Port Augusta's Trainee of the Year in 2018. Also in 2019, she won the District Council of Mount Remarkable's Junior Citizen of the Year.

Now employed by Nutrien Ag Solutions, Phoebe plans to further increase her skills to progress her career in animal health and nutrition.
