Jaylie Maddaford completed a traineeship in Process Plant Operations with Group Training Organisation, Programmed Skilled Workforce and host company ConocoPhillips in Darwin.

At the end of her traineeship Jaylie was offered a permanent position with Santos as an operator at Darwin LNG.

Jaylie spent ten years pursuing a career in the oil and gas industry and is finally living out her dream every day. She completed her training ahead of time and to a high standard.

Jaylie wants to inspire her peers and become a leader in her field, demolish barriers that need not exist; setting the example for others to follow, regardless of gender, age or experience.

Jaylie believes her strong work ethic and positive attitude helped her through the past ten years. She has proven that hard work and determination pays off.
