When Jack Bonetti entered the final stages of his electrotechnology apprenticeship, the last thing he expected to encounter was a global pandemic. However, his employer put measures in place for training to continue and Jack completed his apprenticeship in June 2020.

When Jack was in Year 11, he enrolled in a one-year industrial pathways program that exposed him to a wide variety of trades. The course helped solidify Jack’s passion for working with electronic technology. The following year, Jack undertook a Certificate II in Electrotechnology and started as an apprentice with PEER.

Jack said his training and work placements gave him the confidence to take on additional responsibility on work sites. He is now employed with Livewire Digital and is highly respected by his colleagues and managers. Due to Jack’s abilities he is trusted to work with less experienced staff to further develop their electrical skills.
