Central Institute of Technology has been providing VET to international students for more than 50 years and now educates over 3000 each year through both onshore and offshore courses. Central’s international students are able to study 120 courses, 76 per cent of which are offered at Certificate IV or above.

Central’s international students are able to study 120 courses, 76 per cent of which are offered at Certificate IV or above.

Central has five international student advisors to support international students with visa conditions, course progress and English language. Free access to International Student Counsellors can be provided if required.

Central is working with TAFE Directors Australia (TDA) to expand the Vocational Education Leadership Training programme to Indonesia, and is TDA’s representative on the Australia-India Education Council where it has led three projects to support the development of India’s VET sector, including a VET in Schools programme. Central is also Western Australia’s public provider representative on the Study Perth Board, which is building the profile of international education in Western Australia and overseas.
