Bethany Clarke recently completed an apprenticeship in process plant operations with Shell. The vocational education and training she undertook made a positive impact on her life in many different ways.

She has been working offshore for almost three years, which has pushed her out of her comfort zone.

Bethany is looking forward to new opportunities in her career. She is excited to use her past experiences to inspire the next generation of apprentices starting their journey. As well as a full-time job with one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world, she is also completing an online commerce degree, majoring in management and human resource management.

Bethany is passionate about advocating to bring more women into the industry. Her goal is to inspire other bright, young women who might not have thought about process plant operations as a potential and rewarding career path.
