The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Education Centre (ANMEC) has successfully trained students across a diverse range of vocational education and training-based health and social care courses, since launching as a service of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (South Australia Branch) in 2004. Using a holistic approach, ANMEC works closely with students to meet their diverse learning needs.
Currently delivering the Diploma of Nursing, Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing or Disability), and Certificate III and IV in Sterilisation Services, ANMEC is also building a demand-driven professional development program focused on partner organisation requirements.
ANMEC employs professional nursing educators to ensure teaching and support are clinically relevant, with contemporary context, content, and delivery. Modern simulation facilities are supported by an up-to-date library.
ANMEC aims for every student to achieve a qualification and pathway into a profession and career, and to ensure that the right person ends up in the right job.
