After securing a place in La Trobe University’s Bachelor of Outdoor Education degree, Caitlyn Webb decided to defer her studies to undertake a traineeship in outdoor education at MacKillop Catholic College while studying a Certificate III in Outdoor Recreation through Work & Training Ltd. Working with students in Years 7 to 10, Caitlyn assists with preparing and delivering the school’s outdoor recreation programme, and is involved in the running of school camps and sports carnivals, selecting students to represent the school in sporting competitions and assisting with the theoretical and practical components of outdoor education classes.

Since completing her Certificate III, Caitlyn has been working towards a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation and, upon its completion, will commence her degree at La Trobe University.

Outside of her work, Caitlyn enjoys netball and Australian football, and has coached netball and basketball teams at Mackillop.
