Jahdai, an Indigenous Trainee and Project Officer within the Freemasons Centre for Male Health and Wellbeing at Menzies School of Health Research, works on a range of projects relating to gambling and social and emotional wellbeing. He is also the secretariat for Menzies’ Social and Emotional Wellbeing Aboriginal Advisory Committee. Through his traineeship, Jahdai has found passion and drive to improve communities in the Northern Territory. “I want to be able to be a positive influence to young Indigenous and Torres Strait Islanders so that they hopefully can be inspired to dream big and work towards their goals”. Jahdai has completed a Certificate III in Community Services and is working towards a Certificate II in Community Health Research.
