Amelia recently completed a traineeship studying a Certificate III in Business Administration with the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) as her employer and training provider. After finishing Year 12, Amelia completed a Diploma of Beauty Therapy and managed a prestigious beauty salon for two years. Within this time, Amelia had achieved all of her goals within the beauty industry and was looking for a new challenge.

Amelia researched possible new career options and applied for a traineeship in business administration as she thought it would be interesting and challenging. Within weeks of completing her traineeship, Amelia was offered a permanent position with CIT as an ACT Funding Agreement Liaison Officer. 

Amelia’s position allows her to promote and support the growth and retention of ACT Australian Apprentices.
