Rebecca Sturt completed a Certificate III in Individual Support and did her work placement with Goodwin Aged Care in Canberra where she works as a residential carer. Rebecca first considered a career in aged care after a friend shared her love of the job and the many rewards of working in the industry.

One of Rebecca’s strongest qualities is her caring nature and her desire to help people and make the world a better place. This desire was reinforced after she was the passenger in a car accident that left a close friend paralysed. 

Rebecca strives to make a difference in people’s lives, to care for those in need, and most importantly, to assist in restoring quality of life and independence for those that need support to do so.
