Currently ranked at number one in the Victorian TAFE sector, Wodonga TAFE achieved this status by adopting ‘One TAFE’ approach.

While the region has some of the lowest tertiary participation rates in the state, Wodonga TAFE and other tertiary education providers in the region work together to develop courses and programs to capture the interest, and address the specific needs of the community.

The TAFE and Charles Sturt University designed a unique pathway for students who did not receive an ATAR score high enough for university admission. It allows students to enrol in a dual Certificate IV in Tertiary Preparation and a Diploma of General Studies. The twelve-month program provides students with the skills and knowledge required for entry into university.

Wodonga TAFE is incredibly proud of the outcomes for all 211 students who have participated in the program to date. One of the first students to complete the program was recently awarded a PhD scholarship.
