Agriculture is Lachlan’s lifelong passion, making a Certificate III in Agriculture a perfect fit for his career aspirations.

He is currently completing Year 12 at Oakey State High School and is doing a school based traineeship with Oakey Beef Exports.

His traineeship came with a guarantee of full time employment on completion of Year 12.

As the only trainee in livestock, Lachlan has found his dream job.

In 2016 Lachlan expanded on his experience when he was awarded a scholarship to the "TASTE" program at Longreach Agricultural College. The experience reinforced his desire to work in the livestock industry. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect career path.

Lachlan enjoys sharing the knowledge he gained from his agriculture subject at Oakey State High School and with the Cattle Show Team. He takes immense pleasure in the theory component as well as the on the job component of his traineeship.
