David Bridge has worked in the meat industry since he was 15, completing an apprenticeship as a butcher before moving to abattoir work and becoming retail ready manager by the age of 21. He then worked as a production manager before commencing his current role as boning room manager with Gundagai Meat Processors. Believing training adds value to both the individual and the business, David has completed a number of qualifications, the most recent of which is an Advanced Diploma in Meat Processing through Response Learning.

David has completed a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment in order to help his employer develop a workplace training system.

Outside of work, David enjoys working on building projects and runs his own handyman business. He plays touch football and coaches junior rugby league, touch football and junior cricket, as well as being involved in his local fishing and services clubs.
