After watching the ‘behind-the-scenes’ featurette on a VHS movie when she was 11, Rebecca Lyons Wright developed a fascination with animation. Upon completion of her Bachelor of Visual Arts, Rebecca did not feel that she was any closer to her dream of working in the film industry and decided to pursue further studies at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment.

Following her graduating with an Advanced Diploma in Screen and Media, Rebecca worked on big-budget movies for visual effects company Method Studios where she achieved her goal of having her name listed in a film’s credits as a Visual Effects Artist. Rebecca is now a junior broadcast designer at WildBear Entertainment, where she develops animated videos.

Rebecca studied in two different countries as an exchange student and has been awarded a black belt in taekwondo. She represented Australia in the sport in 2011 and has taught taekwondo to young children.
