Jillian’s TAFE’s Skills for Education and Employment programme delivers a range of Certificate I programmes aimed at preparing students for a smooth transition into studies in specific areas such as aged care, IT and trades.
Jillian designed an Elders Introduction to Technology course, which goes beyond the teaching of basic level technology skills – disadvantaged youth in the community help Elders to improve their technology skills while, in return, the Elders help the youth develop a sense of pride in their community and respect for themselves, their culture and customs.
