From its beginnings, boutique hairdresser Audrey Hair focused on providing suburban areas with the quality of salon experience often only available in cities, rapidly building a loyal client base through this boutique service. Now operating two salons in Southern Tasmania, the business offers high level customer service for males, females and children in all aspects of hairdressing.

Audrey Hair has trained most staff from the first year of apprenticeship, with employees’ successful training and skill development contributing to the salon’s industry success. Employing a new apprentice each year, the salon always has a staff member at each skill level which provides flexible staffing and training at both salons. Audrey Hair supports ongoing training, allowing staff to practice their theory during work hours and allocating an annual budget per person for further training and development. Currently, three senior staff are completing a Certificate IV in Human Resources to broaden their workplace and management skills.
