Certificate III in Business

In 2015, Madeline Wallace completed a Certificate II in Animal Studies through an ASbA while working at the Weston Creek Veterinary Hospital. Initially, both her love of animals and her previous Year 10 work experience at the veterinary hospital led her to choose this certificate. This year, Madeline has had the opportunity to transition into a second ASbA with the same employer, commencing a Certificate III in Business while working as a receptionist. 

Madeline’s training has broadened her range of skills to include balancing work, study and sport and navigating new online learning methods. Undertaking an ASbA has given her the opportunity to work while still completing her Year 12 studies and she has valued the mix of study and workplace experience. In the future, Madeline would like to continue her learning and undertake a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing with the hope of one day travelling overseas and working with animals.
