As a result of Arafura’s commitment to employee training, it is not only the arborists that are benefitting from training support. The employees in the company’s office are offered the Certificate IV in Accounting or Financial Administration, and Australian School-based Apprentices working in the office are offered the Certificate II in Administration.
Arafura’s Indigenous Employment Plan is strongly linked to its training strategy with the objective of supporting local development and capacity building for Indigenous Territorians and the arboreal industry of the NT.
