Hospitality Group Training (HGT) provides training and study to South Australia’s hospitality industry. HGT’s focus on hospitality has allowed it to support industry through the development of specialised training programmes.

HGT delivers nationally recognised training for a range of industry sectors, including hospitality, kitchen operations, commercial cookery and catering operations. HGT’s Hospitality Industry Skills Centre boasts two fully operational commercial kitchens, as well as traditional training rooms, which are used to provide training to Australian Apprentices and VET in Schools students, as well as tours and master classes. HGT also provides a number of courses in business, frontline management and management, as well as a range of short courses. This allows learners to also become proficient in the human resources aspects of hospitality, and allows supervisors in the industry to gain necessary management skills. Pre-vocational courses are also available to assist students who wish to undertake an Australian Apprenticeship.
