The Northern Adelaide State Secondary Schools' Alliance (NASSSA) is a confederation of ten schools in Northern Adelaide. It was formed over 15 years ago to maximize the learning opportunities, career pathways, school retention and educational outcomes for all its students.
With 1042 pupils participating in over 70 classes across 45 nationally recognised qualifications weekly, the Alliance is a key link between schools, registered training organisations, industry partners, the community and universities.
By concentrating information and expertise, the Alliance enables high level attention to the detail of student pathway selection, combining resources and harvesting industry and RTO support, to ensure students make informed choices.
The Alliance works closely with RTOs and school-based teachers of VET to build a highly skilled community of practice, focussed on building teacher-trainer skills in designing and delivering high quality VET courses to NASSSA students.
Alliance schools include Craigmore High School, Fremont Elizabeth City High School, Gawler and District College B-12, Kaurna Plains Aboriginal School, Northern Adelaide Senior College, Parafield Gardens High School, Para Hills High School, Paralowie R-12 School, Salisbury High School and Salisbury East High School.
