Main Roads WA has close partnerships with the Australian Institute of Management, Curtin University and The Winding Staircase. These relationships have resulted in the development of a number of programmes aimed at creating a strong leadership culture within the organisation.
With the Challenger Institute of Technology, Main Roads WA offers a number of nationally recognised qualifications to its Materials Engineering employees. The Development Employee Leadership Program is facilitated by the Australian Institute of Management and has seen more than 120 employees graduate with a Diploma of Management, with another 40 enrolled.
