Bethany Spoor became an entrepreneur at age 13 when she started Bethany Grace Natural Skincare products. With aspirations to develop her own retail business, Bethany looked to McDonald’s as a career pathway to gain relevant skills in the retail industry.

Bethany has worked at McDonalds Lismore for three years and has progressed from crew member to Area Supervisor and Crew Trainer. In 2014 when the opportunity arose to undertake a traineeship and gain a Certificate III in Retail Operations with McDonald’s she jumped at the chance.

Since completing her traineeship, Bethany now has the skills to manage every unit in the McDonalds Lismore restaurant and has gained a stronger insight in to how the retail trade operates.

Bethany was named 2013 McDonald’s Lismore Crew Person of the Year and has also completed the McDonald’s Crew Trainer Development Program. She is now enrolled at Southern Cross University where she is completing a business degree. In her spare time, Bethany also works as a freelance graphic designer, creating logos, business cards, posters and signs for a full spectrum of clients.
